Facemasks at your discretion

NHS England have updated their Infection Control guidance and patients no longer have to wear a face mask unless they have respiratory or Covid symptoms, or if they prefer to wear one as their choice.

Respiratory or Covid symptoms are:

  • continuous cough
  • high temperature, fever or chills
  • loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell
  • sore throat, stuffy or runny nose
  • diarrhoea, feeling sick or being sick

Thank you for your support and understanding in following the NHS Infection Control guidelines throughout Covid and to date.
